The Kindle Fire is a cheap tablet but quite a capable device. It does not run the latest version of Android though. Developer JackpotClavin has released a very early build of Android 4.0 for Kindle Fire owners to take advantage of. The instructions are not that hard to follow. Android 4.0 is not running perfectly on the device at this point. But the device is more than capable of handling it which is nice to see.
