Chess can be a lot of fun to play, but you are going to need a decent chessboard to get started. This cardboard chessboard is certainly interesting. It consists of three layers of recycled cardboard (or plywood). The chess pieces are in the two bottom layers while the top layer is where you play the game. The developer has used magnets to keep the set closed when folded. The set has a compact and lightweight design and lets you bring it with you everywhere you go. A plywood version is also available.
