The Pomodoro technique is used by many successful people for time management. There are plenty of apps and gadgets you can buy to keep you on track. Particle Pomodoro is an internet connected timer you can build with simple tools. It is a NeoPixel-powered, IoT Pomodoro Timer that logs your cycles to Google sheets.

The timer has a reset button. Its LEDs grow green during 25-minute sessions and purple for the 5-minute rest period. At the end of your work period, a melody is played. You are going to need a Particle Internet Button, NeoPixel Ring, power source, and magnetic buzzer to get started. The instructions are available here.
