We have seen plenty of interesting drones and remotely piloted aircraft in the past. NASA’s 10-engine remotely piloted aircraft is quite fascinating though. The Greased Lightning GL-10 prototype has a 10-foot wingspan and is powered by a battery. It can take off like a helicopter and fly like an airplane. The GL-10 is currently in the design and testing phase.
