Rubik’s Cube puzzles are fun to play with, but they are usually quite small. Tony Fisher’s Rubik’s Cube is different. This 1.56m 3 x 3 x 3 puzzle weighs 100 kilograms. The puzzle is fully functional and took a few weeks to make. The volume is over 20,000 times larger than a normal Rubik’s Cube.
From the video, it seems Tony could have made the cube larger, but he wanted it to fit in his house and be usable by one person. The above video provides more information on this project. The world record is not official yet, so it will be interesting to see who ends up with it.
