Delivery robots are going to become a thing or so it seems. A bunch of companies are working on testing and perfecting the idea. Marble’s delivery robots have started food delivery in San Francisco. They use advanced sensors and high-resolution 3D city maps to navigate busy environments. Their swappable cargo bays facilitate transportation of various types of products.
Marble and Yelp Eat24 have already started testing this approach. As TechCrunch explains, users simply have to order from an app and choose robot delivery. When the robot arrives, they will need to enter the right code to gain access to their items.
