Playing piano can be a lot of fun. Learning piano is not that hard but mastering it takes a lot of time and effort. The Projected Instrument Augmentation system can help. Designed by Katja Rogers and Amrei Röhlig and their colleagues at the University of Ulm in Germany, PIANO helps novices improve their skills. As you can see in the above GIF, the system shows which fingers you need to use to play the right notes. The system highlights incorrect notes played in red.
Not everyone is impressed with this idea. But it could work for folks who have trouble mastering their piano. What’s your take? Good idea?
