SmartPet From Bandai: Your Fake Pet


Are you dying to adopt a dog but don’t have the space or time to take care of one? You can always try your luck with a SmartPet from Bandai. The SmartPet uses your iPhone as its face. It has over 100 facial expressions. As you can see in the below video, this robotic dog moves around too. You can control the behavior of your dog using the app.

The SmartPet will be released in Japan on April 24th for around $80. There is no word when these will be available in the U.S. They can be quite entertaining for kids.
