Harvard Researchers Develop Soft Robotic Gripper for Jellyfish

Robots are already being used to study marine life. In order to handle jellyfish and fragile marine life, a more delicate approach is needed. Wyss Institute researchers at Harvard University have built an ultra-soft gripper with fingers inflated with water to gently grasp jellyfish and release them without any harm.
