The folks at Adafruit have shared many awesome DIY electronics projects in the past. The VU Meter Baseball Hat is another wearable you can make with FLORA. It is all about adding sound-reactive NeoPixels to your baseball cap. Using the microphone at the side, the FLORA microcontroller activates the LEDs according to the volume in the room.

To complete this project, you are going to need a FLORA main board, a 144-density NeoPixel strip, a 500 mAh battery, and various other parts. This is an intermediate level wearables project, so you will have to do some sewing and soldering.
