Robots playing soccer is nothing new. Those of you who have followed RoboCup and other competitions have probably seen a few robotic soccer players in the past. WiSoccero is an agile robot that lets you play the game against friends. It has omindirectional wheels, so it can maneuver freely on the field.
These robots are capable of kicking and passing the ball. They have a WiFi module and can be programmed wirelessly. WiSoccero is powered by 3 Li-ion 18650 rechargeable batteries. Neodymium magnets are used to catch styrofoam magnetic balls. WiSoccero is Arduino Mega compatible. Expected to ship in June.
