DIY: Electro-mechanical Data Clock with Alexa

Super Cool Physics Toys

There is no better way to learn electronics and coding than building your own things. The Data Clock is a cloud connected electro-mechanical device you can build to keep up with the weather conditions, solar weather, and other data. It also has Amazon Echo voice control.

The clock’s inner ring is for modes while the outer ring shows data that corresponds to the mode. You are going to need LED modules, Particle Photon, a Stepper motor driver, and a few other parts to complete this project. jwolin has the instructions here.
