Plenty of companies are developing humanoid robots to address labor shortage in manufacturing, logistics, and various other industries. Hexagon’s AEON is the latest robot for this purpose. It is a bipedal wheeled humanoid robot, so it can adapt to various terrains. AEON can perform inspection and transportation tasks.
This video shows the practicality of AEON, which is currently in operation in companies such as Schaeffler’s factory. The controversy between bipedal and wheeled is not significant. https://t.co/YH82N6Mi8e pic.twitter.com/rGyNdr75Ns

To build this robot, Hexagon used NVIDA’s Three Computers to develop this robot. Isaac GR00T-Mimic is used to generate tons of motion data from a few human demonstrations. AEON learns many of its skills through simulations. In fact, NVIDIA Isaac Sim is used to simulate navigation, locomotion, and manipulation tasks.
