3D printing is going to change the way we produce things and live. We have already covered many awesome 3D printers and 3D-printed products in the past. This technology can be used to make life easier humans and animals. A student at the University of Calgary has used 3D printing to create a pair of feet for a rooster who had lost both of his feet due to frostbite.
Douglas Kondro modeled the artificial feet after turkey’s talons. As you can see in the above video, this technology saved this rooster’s life. Just imagine what it can do for humans in the future with 3D printing organs already being explored. More information is available here.
