It is reclaimed, re-shaped, and re-finished from salvaged California Redwood. The tie looks like a continuous piece but has 12 segments. Its adjustable elastic cord fits most neck sizes. This wooden tie looks good and might survive a food accident or two. You should probably not wear it to a serious meeting.
