Meet the ARKE exoskeleton: a lower body robotic wearable that helps wheelchair users walk again. It is made of carbon fiber, aluminum, and steel and can be fully customized. ARKE features Bionik’s transmission and actuation system and has tablet control. With Alexa control, users will be able to communicate with the exoskeleton using voice commands.
ARKE relies on sensors in the feet and joints to determine how the body weight should be distributed, allowing people with mobility issues to walk. More info is available here.
