Meet the HEXOTRAC: a hand exoskeleton with a 6DOF tracking system that tracks the position and orientation of your hand at 1 kHz, allowing you to control an industrial robot arm. This underactuated exoskeleton gives bidirectional force feedback to the users’ fingers through a DC motor for each finger.

HEXOTRAC was developed at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologi. This video shows it being used to control a Kuka LWR robot with a SoftHand robotic hand.
