Kindala Forest Spring Driven Kinetic Sculpture

David C. Roy’s kinetic sculptures are quite awesome. We have covered plenty of them here in the past. Kindala Forest may be his best work yet. This is a spring driven kinetic sculpture that creates mesmerizing patterns. Here is what he had to say about it:

Kindala Forest is my latest and I think most successful attempt to capture the essence of the evolving radial patterns one sees when they turn the ring on a kaleidoscope. 

This piece runs for 48 hours each time and measures 42″ w x 49″ h x 6″d.
