Robots are already getting better at a variety of sports. We have seen how they can play basketball, badminton, and soccer. They are also getting pretty good at table tennis. There are already a bunch of them that can be controlled with a phone to set up all kinds of drills. Even humanoid robots can play ping pong autonomously now. As this video shows, the AGIBOT A3 went ahead against world champion Ding Ning. It can read ball trajectory and return shots on its own without a remote control.
This robot stands 1.73m tall, weighing 55kg. It is a pretty impressive robot that can perform somersaults and air walking. 100s of these robots can perform complex routine in sync. As you can see in the above video, the robot is not exactly world champion level but as we have seen with other robots, that can change quickly.
