In the past few months, we have covered various projects that involve making your own smart wearable device. The Pong Watch may not be the smartest watch around, but it is certainly fun to look at. Andrew Hannay has published a guide that shows you how to build your own Pong Watch:
You are going to need a monochrome OLED display with I2C interface, a case, and a rechargeable battery to get started. A Microchip PIC 12F1840 microcontroller is also required but does not cost a whole lot. You can find out more about the watch and all the parts needed here.
