Gordon Bradt was behind some of the most interesting metal kinetic sculptures we have tested. While he is gone, his creations are still sold on eBay and many other auction sites. The five-man and six-man clocks have tiny men that move various gears, creating the illusion that they are running the clock. The Golfer sculpture keeps taking shots. Its part of the sport figure series that included baseball, tennis, and other sports.
The 6-man and 5-man clocks are made with brass. They use an electric 4rpm synchronous motor to keep time. The 6-man clock measures 9 inches tall. A larger version (7-man clock) was also made which stands 17.5 inches tall. These clocks are rare but still show up on eBay once in a while. They don’t come cheap, though.
