iRock: Power generating iPad Rocking Chair

Nothing is more relaxing that sitting on a rocking chair and reading a book or watching a movie on an iPad. There are plenty of cheap rocking chairs around. The iRock is a different animal though. This beauty generates energy from your movement. It is handcrafted out of Swedish oak and comes in 5 different colors. The chair has a generator on the back of one of the rockers to harness the kinetic energy generated from rocking. A battery is included to power up the speakers or recharge your iOS device. If you use iRock for 60 minutes you can recharge an iPad 3 to 35% or so the makers say. Very interesting idea if you can afford the price tag of $1300.
