Here is another cool gears clock that puts on a show as time goes by. This large steampunk clock has self rotating gears. It has a silent quartz clock mechanism and runs on a AA battery. It has 12 gears with motion detection activated rotation. That means the gears rotate only someone is in front of the clock.

This gears clock measures 32 x 30 inches. The batteries, electronics and motor are all hidden in the back panel.
