Spending time outside can be fun but you don’t always have an easy way to charge your favorite devices to stay connected. Solar chargers are great but the weather doesn’t always cooperate. The VENTYRA R1 is an off-grid wind charger that fits in a backpack and can turn winds at 3m/s into power for your devices. It supports 50W fast charging. It has a 4-blade turbine and foldable tripod. You also get a XT60 cable.
VENTYRA R1 can be complementary to your existing outdoor power setup. It weighs 2.2lb, so you can easily take it with you anywhere. You can get started with winds from 6.7mph. The turbine can generate 75W at is peak. You will just have to connect the XT60 cable to the power hub and use the USB ports to charge your devices. You will be able to charge a tablet fully in about an hour. This project is getting funded on Kickstarter.
