In the past few months, we have covered plenty of awesome 3D printed models. This fully functional Chevy Camaro V8 LS3 Engine was also 3D printed (everything except for the bearings and fasteners). According to Eric Harrell, many parts were modeled from existing CAD files on the Internet.
Over 200 hours of printing time and 2 kg of filament were required to complete this. This 3D printed engine was printed in PLA plastic on a RepRap Prusa i3s.
