Advanced prosthetic arms and legs have made life easier for a lot of people. They are not cheap and accessible to everyone though. Students at the University of Manchester have designed and built a robotic prosthetic hand using 3D printing technology that can provide a cheaper alternative to amputees.
The hand’s joints are fully posable, so users will be able to move each individual finger and make a fist. This robotic hand can be used to pick items up, handle a knife, type/click, and do a whole lot more. The hand was built for £307! Consider us impressed.
