There are plenty of 3D printing robots that can erect buildings in a few days. These types of jobs can also be done with drones. A group of scientists and engineers have come up with 3D printing drones inspired by bees and wasps that deposit cement like materials with precision to build tall structures.

The idea is to use swarms of these drones for construction jobs. One of the biggest problem developing these drones was accuracy. The Researchers used scanning drones to gather data about the printing progress and guide the printing drone to the right spot. The team also created a print head that adjusts its position to compensate for the movement of the drone. The above video shows these drones in action.
