Books are truly wonderful. They teach you new things, help you keep your mind sharp, and sometimes let your imagination fly. Not everyone is lucky to have access to a huge library or even the Internet at their location. That’s why we love the story behind this bookmobile so much. Retired teacher Antonio La Cava from Ferrandina runs this vehicle to promote reading in the villages of Basilicata. It is a Ape motorbike from Piaggio but has been modified and filled with books. They call it Bibliomotocarro. It’s for a great cause and looks cute. What’s not to like?
