Meet Cellulo: a robot designed to help visually impaired schoolchildren find the way and avoid obstacles in the classroom. Children simply move the robot around a map of the room and get notified when it bumps into something.
The robot stops, moves back, and vibrates when it touches something. Children can rely on a tablet to figure out what’s in the way. Teachers can also program the robot to follow a specific path.
