Robots are pretty good at completing short tasks. Long horizon tasks can remain a challenge though. Dyna 2.1 is a physical agent that can achieve long-horizon whole-body economy. It is used with Taku, which is a semi-humanoid robot with a 21 DoF upper body and a mobile base to move around. Dyna 2.1 makes these robots like agentic employees that can complete workflows, not just single tasks. They can perform 24/7 with no human intervention.

As this video shows, the robot can get tasks done in a laundry room. That includes taking clothes out, folding them, and performing all the other tasks that are necessary. As Dyna Robotics explain, Taku can transform physical skills from human videos. Thanks to Dyna-2 WAM, which is pre-trained on millions of hours of human videos, Taku can learn new tasks faster.
We are releasing Dyna-2.1, the first Physical Agent that achieves reliable super long-horizon whole-body autonomy. It combines our brand-new semi-humanoid hardware with an agentic system built around Dyna-2 to handle ultra-long real-world workflows.
