In the past few years, we have covered plenty of interesting projects that can bring old gaming hardware to life. The GB-Link USB V2 is designed for Game Boy fans. It connects to your Game Boy link-cable to a browser, so you can play online against others even when you are not in the same room. There are no drivers for you to try as communication happens over WebSerial and WebUSB. It has a Raspberry Pi RP2040 microcontroller and a USB-C port.

The GB-Link USB V2 is compatible with Analogue Pocket, Chromatic, and other FPGA consoles. You will be able to use it in Chrome or Firefox. A Game Boy Printer link is available for printing and saving your Game Boy Camera photos as image files. You can also backup GB/GBC cartridge ROMs. The device has a button for flashing firmware. According to the project, not all games are supported but more are added all the time. This is an open source project.
