We have covered various bionic arms in the past. The HACKberry prosthetic arm from exiii is quite special though. It relies on muscles sensors and a smartphone to work. This open source prosthesis uses a smartphone to process user data, making the technology accessible to more people. The hand detects when nerve and muscle tissue is stimulated by signals from the brain and sends the data to a smartphone to translate into hand and arm movements.
