Most of us have used fans indoors to stay cool. Most of them are not designed for camping and other outdoor adventures though. Some of them that are simply don’t do a good job. The EDON IceMist combines semiconductor cooling with atomized ice mist technology to maintain a 18C breeze anywhere. It also has an adjustable fan. It has a portable design, so you can easily take it with you anywhere. This cooler users pre-cooled mist, so you will feel it better than regular evaporative coolers.
To get started, you will simply have to remove the base, pour water into it, and install the base. It uses only 10W of power. You get 4 airflow levels to choose from. Noise level is from 20 to 38dB depending on the mode you choose. This project is getting funded on Kickstarter.
