Every new laptop you buy comes with its own adapter. Even if you buy all your computers from the same brand, there is no guarantee their adapters will work with other models. The Innergie T33 Gaming Laptop Charger aims to address that. It is a modular laptop charger that delivers 330W of power to ASUS, Acer, Dell, HP, MSI, and other laptops. The good folks behind it were kind enough to send us one to test. Let’s see what was included:

Our Innergie T33 Laptop Charger came in a compact package. It came with 6 tips (F1t, Xt, Gt, Dt, Ct, A) that you can use to charge many popular laptop brands. We were able to test it with an HP and MSI laptop, but for Lenovo, Acer, and ASUS, you will just have to use the right tip. Attaching and replacing tips only took a couple of minutes. They look very well made and don’t easily detach by accident.

Right out of the box, we were impressed with this adapter’s build quality. It is built like a tank and feels hefty. We weighed the adapter with its cable and all tips. The total was just over 1 kg. Our charger came with an over 3 ft power cord but also had a cable that is just under 6 ft. The T33 is 19.5V rated, so it should be able to charge new power-hungry laptops. For laptops that are too old or underpowered, you will want to get something that is closer in specs.

The T33 saves you from having to carry and keep track of multiple charging adapters for your laptops. The main connectors seem pretty sturdy, so we expect them to last a while. This charger is 1.5-m drop-proof, so unless you are planning to smash it against concrete, it should withstand accidental drops.

The charging speed differs depending on the age of your laptop, health of your battery, and other factors. For our MSI laptop, we were able to get to 50% from a fully discharged state in about 45 minutes. Newer models may charge faster. All adapters get warm after a prolonged charging session, but our T33 didn’t go over 110° F according to our FLIR camera.

Even though this adapter is capable of charging many laptop models and has lots of power, it is not bulky at all. It is compact enough to easily fit in any standard laptop bag. According to the manufacturer, the outer case is made of 95% recycled plastic but we couldn’t tell by just looking at it. Innergie is known for its safe chargers and this one is no different. It comes with over current, over voltage, short-circuit protection, and other security features.

Overall, we found the Innergie T33 charger to be a very solid modular charger for people who have laptops from various brands. It is especially handy for business trips as it doesn’t take a lot of space and offers enough power to charge powerful laptops of all kinds. It has a solid build and charges fast without getting too hot. It is well worth a look for people who own laptops from various brands.
