Camping is great for your body and mind. It’s fun to do any time of the year, but you are going to need the right gear to do it safely, including a reliable light. The OGERY Z10 Camping Light is a versatile cordless outdoor light with a stand that you can set up anywhere. Our camping light came in a compact package. It came with the light module and telescoping stand that reaches over 6.5 feet. The light has 3 panels that you can move up and down and rotate 270 degrees. You get two buttons to control settings: one of them lets you change the color temperature while the other is for adjusting output intensity. There is a spotlight built into the top of this light.
We tested the light temperature with our smartphone. The OGERY camping light has 3 modes (3500K, 4500K and 6500K) while the top spotlight is a bit whiter. We got readings close to 8300K with a light meter app. This camping light has a USB-C and USB-A port, so you can not only charge it fast, but also power your smartphone when you are stuck.
You can push the brightness button 3 times to cycle through brightness levels. In addition to regular modes, you also get a flashing mode to signal others for help. We were able to light up all the way across our backyard with this light. The tripod stand can be opened by pressing a button. You get multiple sections to increase the height of the stand. We used this light on an icy surface and had no trouble setting it up. It worked very well in 14°F conditions.
We left this light on to see how long the battery would last. We got close to 23 hours at the low light setting. The main module has magnets in the back, so you can attach it to any metal surface in your garage or outside. You can rotate the light panels independently. The indicator lights let you know how much battery you have left. By rotating and adjusting the light panels, you can choose how much area you want to cover.
What we like about the OGERY Camping light is its versatility. It can be used as a flashlight, searchlight, table lamp or reading/hanging light in your tent. It is very bright for a light of its size. Even with the tripod, it is lightweight enough to move around. Best of all, the stand and light are compact enough to easily fit in a bag.
