Robotic surgery has come a long way over the years. These robots are going to become even more sophisticated. UWE Bristol has developed wearable robotic tools to provide surgeons more flexibility when performing operations. Data gloves are used to capture and track hand motion to control robotic instruments.
Researchers at the University of the West of England developed this wearable robotic system to offer surgeons natural movement while performing minimal invasive surgeries. Has potential, don’t you think? More info is available here.
