The idea of using robots to park cars is nothing new. We have already seen it tested at a couple of places in the past. Yeefung’s car parking robot (GETA) uses laser navigation to achieve positioning accuracy of +/- 5mm at speed up to 1.5m/s.

This system relies on route planning algorithm for dynamic parking. It works automatically without pre-planned routes. These robots can move forward, backward, and sideways.
