Zipperbot Robotic Zipper

Robots are going to do a lot of things for us in the future. They are already being used by manufacturers to build amazing things. But we could see wearable robots very soon. Take the Zipperbot for instance. This robo-zipper is developed to:

explore autonomous control of a sartorial gesture and performed as a wearable robot which was evaluated through social interactions.

As you can see in the below video, the Zipperbot is pretty good at zipping and unzipping. Coordinated movement of multiple Zipperbots is also possible. When we will see robotic wearables in stores remains to be seen though.
