Anyone who does serious cooking with meat knows the benefits of having a reliable, powerful meat grinder. When picking one, you will want to go with a multifunctional one that has multiple speeds and grind sizes. The AAOBOSI Multifunctional Meat Grinder is a powerful machine with a touch control panel, 9 settings, and a vegetable/cheese slicer module. The good folks behind it were kind enough to send us one to test. Let’s see what was included:

This smart meat grinder came in a compact package. We found the machine, 2 blades, 3 grinding plates, the slicer/shredder/grater module, and a food pusher. Ours came with the blade and feeding screw already assembled but you can always remove them with a twist. The machine has a lightweight design, weighing just under 8 lbs according to our kitchen scale. It has a low profile and fits in small kitchens.

This is not only a meat grinder but also a vegetable/cheese slicer and grater. Once you have washed and dried the modules and assembled them, you can choose one from the 9 programs available (meat, chicken, fish, sausage, kibbe, potato, slice, shred, and cheese). You will want to avoid putting skin or similar things in the machine. You always have the option to use the control panel to adjust the speed for any program that you choose.

These machines are not designed to work continuously. You will want to give them a rest after 10 minutes or so. This model has a timer, so you will know how long you have been using it. The manual suggests cutting foods into small pieces to fit them through the hopper’s opening. We didn’t have to do a whole lot of that for our meats as they fit in there easily. For potatoes, peppers, and cheese, we had to do a bit of cutting.

The AAOBOSI Digital Electric Meat Grinder runs at a lower noise level than our older model. It has a reverse function in case of a jam, but we never had to use it. We used this machine to prepare meat for chicken koobideh kebabs and didn’t notice any significant heat buildup. The machine ran smoothly and processed our meat pretty fast. The cleaning process afterwards was easy too. We just had to soak the removable parts in warm water, scrub, rinse, and dry them.
The sausage and kibbeh maker modules were also easy to use. We just had to properly mince our beef. We used this machine to make cheese-stuffed meatballs and cooked them in the oven. The slicer module came in handy for making hash browns and fried potatoes to serve with lunch. You will just have to use the right attachment, which can be installed in a few seconds. To get started, just pick the grinding plate you want. You just have to grind your meat, add your water and spices, and use the sausage-making module to fill your casings. As for the cutter and slicer module, we had success with carrots, potatoes, and onions. As a rule of thumb, you don’t want to try something that’s too juicy in this mode.
Overall, we found this AAOBOSI meat grinder to be a very capable machine. We never experienced any jamming when grinding meat or slicing vegetables. The machine is not particularly loud in this category. It is not the heaviest grinder we have tested either, but it stayed put as we used it. The touch control panel was a nice addition that makes it easy to choose the right program. Best of all, it doesn’t take a whole lot of space. If you are looking for a modern, modular meat grinder that can also replace your vegetable slicer, you should give this one a look.
