DJI’s mini drones are getting more impressive every new generation. Take the DJI Mini 5 Pro for instance: it is a palm-sized foldable drone with a 1-inch CMOS camera, 42GB storage space, night-time omnidirectional obstacle sensing and ActiveTrack 360-degree technology for cinematic aerial shots. It has 4K/60fps HDR and 4K/120fps video capability. Its gimbal features 225-degree rotation. This drone is ready for 90-degree vertical shooting. The battery life lasts up to 52 minutes with an Intelligent Flight Battery Plus.
Mini 5 Pro uses forward-facing LiDAR, fisheye lenses on the front and rear, and binocular lenses and a 3D infrared sensor at the bottom for omnidirectional sensing. This drone is also ready for night photography. It features L1 + L5 dual-band GNSS to connect to more satellites for a better signal. Mini 5 Pro can detect sport scenarios to select cycling or standard mode automatically. It has a max tracking speed of 15m/s. The bad news? Getting these drones in the US remains a challenge.
