
This is the Meta Aria Gen 2: a pair of smart glasses designed with researchers in mind. It is designed for those interested in machine vision, contextual AI and spatial computing. This smart wearable gadget has a lightweight design. It has 4 x computer vision cameras with 120dB HDR, eye & hand tracking and a whole host of sensors, including an ambient light sensor, barometer, magnetometer, GNSS, and a PPG heart rate monitor.
This model also has a privacy switch built-in. It features 7 spatial mics and an ambient light sensor. It comes with eye tracking camera to track your gaze. You also get hand tracking. Aria Gen 2 uses a PPG sensor in its nosepad to estimate your heart rate. It uses Visual Inertial Odometry (VIO) to track the glasses in 6DOF, enabling precise tracking and mapping.
