Full-body trackers have come a long way over the years. The latest generation of them doesn’t require wearable trackers. Take Singularis for instance: it is a full body tracker that uses infrared sensors and AI for full body tracking in 3D space. It uses computer vision and a smart AI model trained for VR motion capture.

Singularis can track your ankles, knees, elbows and other parts of your body. The system is pretty much plug & play: just launch SteamVR to have the base stations and satellites power on automatically. Each base station is a local processor to capture motion at high frame rates for analysis. The smart AI model used here was trained with 1000s of real-world full-body motions. Singularis has a latency of 8ms. It is compatible with HTC Vive, Meta Quest, and various other headsets.
