Video games have come a long way over the years. The latest titles have mindblowing graphics and game engines. Retro gaming consoles still remain in demand for collectors. The GameTank is a 8-bit game console with smoother smoother animations. It also has a configurable audio system. It is powered by WDC’s W65C02S processor with 512KB graphics RAM and 32KB general purpose RAM.
The GameTank has a controller with D-Pad, A/B/C/Start buttons and 2 ports. It has a 26-pin expansion port in the back. This gaming system uses 36-pin 0.1-inch pitch format cartridges. It is developer friendly, so you can use the flashing tool for GameTank cartridges. There is also a C SDK available for it. Best of all, GameTank’s hardware is open source, including schematics and 3D printing files. Clydeware is behind this project.
