Plenty of companies are working to give AI agents a physical body. You can always invest in a fancy one with a powerful processor but your phone can also work as the brain for your AI robot. Take the Loona Deskmate for instance: it is an enabled robot that sees your screen and works with your apps. It has contextual awareness, so you don’t have to keep explaining things to it. This robot doubles as a 165 GaN power station to charge multiple devices at the same time.

The Loona Deskmate features 3 DOF motion (pitch, yaw, roll). AI runs on your phone’s processor. Your data doesn’t leave your device, so you don’t have to worry about your privacy being compromised. This gadget is designed to work with your Calendar, Gmail, Slack, and other popular apps. It reads and sees your environment to understand your intent. It is expected to have a response time of 0.5s. According to the visual on the Kickstarter campaign, this robot will work with OpenClaw and MCP.
