There are many ways to defy gravity. For example, you can rely on acoustic and magnetic levitation to get tiny objects to float. The Magic of Water Fountain takes a different approach. It uses strobe lights to make water droplets appear to defy gravity. The light flashes at a specific frequency while water droplets are pumped at a matching or slightly offset frequency. When the strobe frequency syncs with the droplet fall rate, water appears to freeze or move upward.
Unlike Levitating Waters, which we covered here a while back, this one doesn’t give you the option to change the direction of the flow. But even with one mode, it creates a trippy effect that can mesmerize humans and even cats. A lot of these antigravity water fountains are humidifiers as well.
