Having a powerful grill is ideal whether you are cooking for a few guests or just your family. It is great for grilling, roasting, and searing. Not everyone has room for a giant gas grill. The R.W.FLAME G20B LP Gas Grill has a more compact design but comes with everything you need to cook for a crowd. The good folks behind it were kind enough to send us a unit to test. Let’s see what was included:

The package was smaller than we expected. The reason is everything fits neatly inside the box. The installation process took about 30 minutes. The package included a warming rack, cooking plate, grilling plate, legs, casters, oil drip box and tray, and all the necessary components. The bolts and nuts were clearly marked, so we didn’t have to guess. A wrench is included, but you may want to get a regular screwdriver to tighten some of the bolts.

This grill ships with detailed assembly instructions that show you how to put everything together step by step. We received the package during a heavy winter storm, so there was no way to assemble it outside. The good news is you don’t need that much space to attach the legs, storage box, casters, and leg caps. The R.W.FLAME G20B Grill is not too heavy, so one person can lift and carry it around. Even so, its wheels make it easy to move the grill to any space you want.

Some older grills require manual lighting, but this one has a battery-powered igniter. You will just have to turn the knobs and press the button. The G20B Grill has 16,000 BTU of power and gets warm pretty fast. Its lid has a thermometer that shows the internal cooking temperature. You get two side tables for food prep and your gear. There is also a warming rack for corn, burgers, or anything else you are preparing.

Before getting started, we completed a leak test for safety. We simply used soap and water. The grill worked with our large gas tank from another grill right out of the box. We managed to fit a lot of chicken pieces on both sides of the grill. There was also room for a bunch of tomatoes. For a family of 6, there was more than enough food for a great lunch. Even though the weather outside was 14°F, we had no problem cooking and preparing a large meal in about 30 minutes. The R.W.FLAME G20B Grill fit on our porch, which was a big plus.

This grill may look compact but has a whole lot of nifty features. For starters, it looks quite elegant with a classic thermometer and stainless steel handle. It also comes with a bottle opener.  The oil drip tray and box are removable, so if anything falls through, you will be able to remove them. We used only lean meat, so we didn’t have too much grease in it anyway. The cleaning process is very straightforward, though. The side tables have hooks for your spatula, tongs, and fork. We didn’t use the accessory box but it has enough space for your cutting board and other gear.

Overall, we had a lot of fun cooking on this grill. The entire assembly process by one person can be done quickly. Everything is clearly labeled and organized, so you can’t go wrong. Since it is not too heavy and has wheels, you can move the R.W.FLAME G20B around without a whole lot of hassle. If you are looking for a budget-friendly grill for your small patio or backyard, you should give this one a serious look.
