AI Sapiens from ROBOTIS is a fully open source humanoid robot platform built on DYNAMIXEL‑Q actuators that offer high torque and fast response time. The K0 robot stands 1.3m tall, weighing 34kg. As the company explains, imitation and reinforcement learning policies can be deployed on its hardware instead of just in simulation.
AI Sapiens is ready for imitation learning through data captured through a leader-follower system. The K0 robot will come with CAD files, source code, and tutorials. It uses QM-060 and QM-08 actuators. According to ROBOTIS, this particular robot uses Cortex-A76 and Cortex-A55 paired with a Mali-G610 GPU and a NPU for 6 TOPs of performance. It will have WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Its exterior parts are customizable, so you can use hats, head covers and custom body parts on this.
