Now here is a neat idea: a wheelchair with solar panels and an integrated phone charger. This is designed by a team of students at the University of Virginia’s School of Engineering and Applied Science. It has retractable panels on top but is made from tough and lightweight material. The wheelchair can run for 4.5 hours at top speed of 5 mph. The solar panels charge batteries even under cloudy environment. The USB power outlets included are a plus. A nice idea if you ask us.
