It was only a few months ago that we had the chance to test the Thermal Master P2. The P3 is the newest thermal imaging module that is even better for repair jobs. It can detect circuit leakage as low as 1mA. You can use it with your iOS/Android devices as well as your PC. Here are the specs:
- -4F to 1112F temperature range
- 1mA PCB leak detection
- 512×384 X3 IR resolution
- 8mm macro focus lens
- 15X digital zoom
The P3 PCB Master has an adjustable lens with 8mm minimum focus distance. It can be used to measure human body temperature but is mainly designed for PCB inspection and research. These guys are planning to introduce even more thermal cameras in the future, including the P4, which offers Pro-Mix, IR Fuse, and visible light beyond IR imaging.
