In the past few months, we have covered plenty of cool EV chargers here. Prism is designed for the hackers among you. It is an open source electric vehicle charger that gives you full control over the charging process. It supports charging through a Type 2 socket but a Type 1 version is also available for older vehicles.
You can access Prism’s interface through a browser or mobile app and exert control over charging schedule and power. With the Prism Core Starter Kit and Prism Core EV Kit, you can experiment with the charger and improve the charging management process. Prism is based on an embedded Linux system. You can find out more about it here.
